When will the virtual bake sale take place?
The bake sale will take place June 10- June 12.

How does a virtual bake sale work?
Bloggers will provide information about the baked goods they are going to be donating.  Each item will get its own blog post when the bake sale opens.

All items will appear on this blog at 12:01 AM (EST) on Monday, June 10.  If you would like to bid on an item, leave a comment with the dollar amount you would like to bid.  All bidding will start at $15.  Comments will not be moderated, so please be sure to out-bid the previous highest bidder by at least $1.

Bidding will close at 11:59 PM (EST) on Wednesday June 12.  At this time commenting will be closed on all posts.

How do I know if I won an item?
The winners of each item will be contacted by Friday June 14th.  The email will tell you which item(s) you won and the donation required for each item.  Winning bidders must make a donation by Sunday June 16th.

Once the donation has been made here, your address will be sent to the baker who will ship the baked goods to you.

How do I pay for the baked goods I won?
Donations can be made via credit card (or donor advised fund) via the PMC website here.  Be sure to include the name of the item you won and your shipping address in the Optional Notes to Rider section so I can get your shipping address for the baked goods!

When will my baked goods arrive at my mailing address?
I am asking bakers to ship their baked goods by the end of June, but alternate arrangements can be made if vacations have been planned.

I have a question about the ingredients in a particular baked good.  Can I find out what's in it?
Email me and I will forward your question to the particular baker.

How do I register to donate baked goods?
Email me with the following information:
-Item you would like to donate
-Shipping availability (US only or US and Canada)
-Description  (Include any dietary attributes, i.e. vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc)
-An image and/or link to blog post about the item if you have one

If I register to donate baked goods, what is expected of me?
Bakers will be expected to provide a photo and description of their baked good in advance of the bake sale so it can be posted on the blog.  Once the winner's address is sent to you via email, please ship the baked goods by the end of June.

For the recipe you are using, please donate a full batch, i.e a minimum of 12 muffins or cupcakes, 2 dozen cookies, or an 8" pan worth of brownies/bars.

I would also appreciate if you could help spread the word about the bake sale by posting on your blog about it, tweeting about it, or posting on Facebook!

How will I get the address of the person who won my baked goods?
Once the winners have submitted their donation, their shipping address will be emailed to you.
